To ensure high-quality service for large parties and to fairly compensate our service staff, the following policy applies to all parties of 6 or more guests.
Automatic Gratuity (Auto-Grat)
An automatic service charge/gratuity of 18% - 20% will be added to all parties of 6 or more.
This charge is based on the pre-tax total of food and beverages.
The automatic gratuity will be clearly noted on the menu and the final bill.
Purpose of Policy
Serving large groups requires additional preparation, specialized attention, and often involves team service (bussers, food runners, bartenders). The automatic gratuity ensures the staff is recognized for this extra effort.
Additional Tipping
The automatic gratuity is the required tip for the service provided.
If you feel your server went above and beyond, additional gratuity is welcomed but never expected.
Separate Checks
For large groups, we [encourage/do not allow] splitting checks.
If the bill is split, the 18-20% auto-grat will be divided proportionally among the split checks.
Service Charge Transparency
Note: In some locations, an auto-grat is considered a service charge rather than a tip, which may be treated differently for tax purposes.
